Techy Girls is a flagship program by Techy Train Incubator aimed at empowering teenage girls with foundational digital literacy and technology skills. Designed to inspire, educate, and prepare young African girls for future success, Techy Girls bridges the digital gender divide by fostering interest in technology and equipping participants with the tools and confidence to thrive in a technology-driven world.
The program has two dynamic components:
- School Drive (Annual Outreach)
- Summer Bootcamp (3-Week Training Program)
The Techy Girls program is rooted in the belief that empowering young girls with technology skills is key to addressing gender imbalances in the digital economy.
Tech-Up Girls
Tech-Up Girls is a transformative digital skills training program by Techy Train Incubator, designed to equip African women with practical, high-demand digital skills. This program focuses on empowering women with the knowledge and tools they need to secure decent jobs, build sustainable businesses, and participate in the digital economy.
The training is specifically tailored for women who want to learn and master everyday digital skills that are market-relevant and income-generating, ensuring quick entry into remote work opportunities or entrepreneurial ventures.
African women face significant barriers to economic empowerment, including limited access to skills training and employment opportunities.
HerTech Edge
HerTechEdge is a unique program by Techy Train Incubator designed to empower women-owned small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Africa. Our mission is simple: give women entrepreneurs the digital tools, skills, and strategies they need to thrive, scale, and compete in today’s global marketplace.
Through a step-by-step approach, we help SMBs adopt digital solutions to optimize operations, enhance customer engagement, and unlock new growth opportunities.
